E. H. Denning, Sr.

The funeral of Earl Hardy Denning, Sr., 77, of Alexandria, was held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Alexandria, with
burial following in Memorial Gardens in Alexandria.

Mr. Denning died Tuesday, August 29, 1978 at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in
Alexandria after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Elouise Smith Denning of Alexandria; two
sons, Dr. Harold G. Denning of Jena and Earl H. Denning, Jr., of Winnfield;
one daughter, Mrs. Betty Gingras of Alexandria; seven grandchildren and three
great grandchildren.
