M. Douglas Funeral Rites Held In Winnfield Sat. Funeral services for Mrs. A. M. Douglas, a resident of Winnfield for more than 40 years, were held at the First Baptist Church here Saturday, October 20 at 3 p.m. Dr. W. L. Holcomb, pastor of the church, was in charge of the services. Interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery under the direction of a Jonesboro funeral home. Mrs. Douglas died following a three month illness Friday afternoon, October 19. She had been a member of the First Baptist Church of Winnfield for a number of years and was a native of Claiborne Parish. Surviving Mrs. Douglas are five sisters, Mrs. Nona Brantley, Winnfield, Mrs. R. F. Bishop, Minden, Mrs. T. J. Kemp, Minden, Mrs. Ida Gamble, Minden, Mrs. S. W. Gandy, Bossier City; two brothes, J. A. Alexander, Dubberly and T. C. Alexander, Minden. Pallbearers were six nephews, F. L. Bishop, W. L. Alexander, Conrad Gamble, J. T. Kemp, W. W. Gandy, and P. A. Alexander.
