H. R. Dickerson, Winn Native, Dies Sunday

Funeral services for Heron R. Dickerson, 80, of Shreveport were held at 11:30
a.m. Wednesday in the Osborn Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Richard Burns,
assistant rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church officiating.

Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery.

Mr. Dickerson was found dead at his residence Sunday, December 31, 1972.  

He was a native of Winn Parish and had lived in Shreveport sicne 1923.  Mr.
Dickerson was an independent oil and gas operator and was a member of St.
Mark's Episcopal church.

Survivors include his widow of Las Vegas, Nev.; and one sister, Mrs. A. J.
Fowler of Shreveport.
