Dick Of Atlanta Dies; Buried Tuesday Tommie C. Dick, 28, of Atlanta, died Sunday in a Winnfield hospital following a brief illness. He had been employed in the U. B. Carpenter business office in Winnfield for a number of years. A graduate of Atlanta High School, Mr. Dick was a lifelong resident of the Atlanta Community, a member of the Woodmen of the World, and the Atlanta Baptist Church. Last rites were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Atlanta Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Ray Teal, and the Rev. E. B. Barton, officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Acting as pallbearers were Edward Collins, Jr., Richard Collins, Carl Dick, Larry Mixon, J. T. Hanson, Bob Hanson, Bill Collins, and Cecil Collins. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dick of Atlanta; two sisters, Bonnie Kyle Dick and Ramona Lou Dick of Atlanta; two brothers, Jerry Dick and Larry Dick of Atlanta; and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Dees of Winnfield.
