F. Dickerson Succumbs Here On Monday Night Funeral services for Mrs. J. F. Dickerson, who died suddenly on Monday night at a local clinic, on Monday night at a local clinic, were held Tuesday afternoon at four o'clock at Jerusalem Cemetery where interment was made. Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, assisted by the Rev. H. H. McBride, pastor of the First Baptist Church, and Rev. Keys conducted the last rites. Mrs. Dickerson was taken suddenly ill Monday and rushed to Fittz-Faith Clinic where she died several hours later. The deceased was born in Waxahachie, Texas, May 16, 1877, and moved with her parents to Winn Parish when a young girl. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving her are her husband, J. F. Dickerson, two daughters, Mrs. F. M. Porter and Mrs. Frank Killingsworth, of Baton Rouge, three sons, Gordon Dickerson, Lester Dickerson, and Otis Dickerson, of Winnfield, and seven grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Marvin Anderson, Tioga, and two brothers, Rev. W. D. Sherwood and Sam Sherwood, Winnfield. Pallbearers were Aubrey Porter, Walker Sillman, Clarence Price, E. B. Barton, Jr., S. J. Noah, and Horace Chandler.
