Wife Of Winn Native Dies In Mississippi

Mrs. Orville W. (Bernice Jones) Dickerson, a native of Rochelle, La., died at
1:00 a.m. September 9, 1975 following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held in Memory Chapel in Laurel, Miss., at 4:00 p.m. on
September 10, 1975 with interment in Memorial Gardens in Laurel, Miss.

She is survived by her husband, Orville W. Dickerson of Laurel, Missl., native
of Winn Parish; one son, Byron Dickerson of Gilbertown, Ala.; one daughter,
Nita Brown of Metairie, La.; one brother, Rufus Jones of Pine Prairie, La.;
five grandchildren, one nephew, Mike Jones of Jonesboro, La.; two nieces,
Sandra Layne Jones of Eunice, La., and Chlotilde J. Lang of Montgomery, La.

Services were conducted by Rev. Larry Speed and Rev. Tom Jackson.  Active
pallbearers were employees of Placid Oil Co.  Honorary pallbearers were
members of Timothy Sunday School Class of West Laurel Methodist Church.
