Dickerson Succumbs In New Orleans Oct. 17 Funeral Services To Be Held Friday At Jerusalem Mrs. Emma Mask Dickerson, 71, of Winnfield, died in a New Orleans hospital Wednesday as the result of a lengthy illness. Her body was carried to the home of her son, O. O. Dickerson, Sr., in Winnfield Thursday afternoon where it will remain until funeral services are conducted Friday. Funeral services will be held at the Jerusalem Baptist Church five miles southwest of Winnfield at 10:30 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Winnfield. Interment will be in the Jerusalem Cemetery. Edmonds Funeral Home will be in charge. Mrs. Dickerson has resided in Winn Parish most of her life. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Winnfield. Surviving are her husband, J. W. Dickerson; four sons, Olan O. Dickerson, Sedric Dickerson, Orville Dickerson and Alvin Dickerson, all of Winnfield; three daughters, Mrs. Audry Porter and Mrs. Frank Seramour, both of New Orleans, and Mrs. Sam Parker of Shreveport; two brothers, Wesley Mask of Monroe, La., and Tally Mask of Curryville, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Willis Holmes of Jena; and fourteen grandchildren.
