L. Dickerson Held at Jerusalem Member of Well Known Winn Parish Family Dies in Shreveport Funeral services for Mrs. W. L. Dickerson, who died in Shreveport last Saturday of a heart attack, were conducted at the Jerusalem Cemetery, four miles west of here Sunday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock, conducted by the Rev. B. C. Land, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Winnfield. Services at the home in Shreveport were held earlier in the day by Rev. C. W. Culp of Shreveport, before bringing the remains here for burial. Mrs. Dickerson was a member of the Baptist church with which she affiliated in early girlhood. She is a sister to the Rev. W. E. Sherwood, a Baptist minister who is well known in this section, and Sam Sherwood, a prominent farmer, both of whom reside int eh Sardis Community. Her husband, W. L. Dickerson, who preceded her in death about four years ago, was a member of one of the pioneer families of Winn Parish. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. R. O. Byrnes, and Miss Audette Dickerson, three sons, Cecil, Floyd, and Otho Dickerson of Shreveport, two sisters, Mrs. J. F. Dickerson of Winnfield, Mrs. Marion Anders of Tioga, and two brothers, Rev. W.
