F. Dickerson, 85, Winn Native, Dies; Buried January 5 James Frank Dickerson, 85, native of Winn Parish, died in a Jackson, La. hospital January 3, 1958, following a long illness. Mr. Dickerson had lived practically his entire life in Winn, with the exception of the past few years, which he spent in Baton Rouge with his daughter. A retired farmer, a member of the Laurel Heights Baptist Church, and a charger member of the local Woodman of the World. Funeral services were conducted at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev. E. B. Barton and Dr. W. L. Holcomb officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Acting as pallbearers were Lamarque Kinningsworth, J. Daigre, Billy Palmer, James A. Dickerson, Gordon E. Dickerson, and Roy Dickerson. Mr. Dickerson is survived by three sons, Lester and Otis of Winnfield, and Gordon of Redbud, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. G. F. Killingsworth of Baton Rouge; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Mattie Williams of Winnfield.
