Mrs. Dickerson Dies After Short Illness

Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Carter Dickerson, 62, of Winnfield, were held
at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home here with the Revs.
Roy Moore and E. B. Barton officiating.

Burial was in New Jerusalem Cemetery near here.

Mrs. Dickerson died Tuesday, September 16 1975 in a local hospital after a
short illness.

A retired sales clerk, Mrs. Dickerson was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church
and a native of Calvin.

Survivors include her husband, Oits Dickerson, of Winnfield; four brothers,
Wesley Carter, W. S. Carter, Jr., Dayton Carter, all of Winnfield, and Edmond
Carter of Calvin; four sisters, Mrs. Alma Fletcher of Natchez, Miss., Mrs.
Annie Mae Fowler of ft. Necessity, Mrs. Elsie Bonnette of Winnsboro, and Mrs.
Colleen Carpenter of Calvin; and a number of nieces and nephews.
