Thomas Orrin Dick Dies Sunday Night

Thomas Orrin Dick, age 14 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Dick who live on
route two, died at the Baptist Hospital Sunday night at eleven twenty
o'clock, following an attack of complicated appendicitis.

"Tommie" as he was known by his folks was a member of the Athens Missionary
Church, and tho tender in years he knew the saving power of a gracious and
loving God who loves and saves young as well as old.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Dick, five sisters who are
Mrs. M. C. Booth, of Haynesville, La., Zelma Lee, Una Ve., Mary, and Ione
Dick, and two brothers, Ambrose A. Dick and Richard Dick, all of whom reside
with the parents.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. D. Sherwood at the Zion Hill Church
and the remains were laid to rest in Zion Hill Cemetery Monday of this week.
