Former Winn Teacher Dies In Houston, Texas

Funeral services for Mrs. Archie L. Dickerson of Monroe, were held at 3 p.m.
Wednesday at the chapel of Mulhearn's Funeral Home in West Monroe with the
Revs. Larry Baker and Ray Grant officiating.  Burial was at Antioch Cemetery.

Mrs. Dickerson die early Monday, November 16, 1970 in a Houston, Texas,
hospital after a lengthy illness.

A native of Bienville Parish, she had been a resident of the Twin Cities since
1933.  She was an English teacher at West Monroe High School.  Mrs. Dickerson
also taught in Calvin High School during the early thirties and at that time
resided in Winnfield.

She is survived by her husband; two sisters, two brothers, and several nieces
and nephews.
