M. Dickerson Dies At 70 Years Of Age Last Week End Funeral services for Mrs. M. M. Dickerson, aged 70, who died Thursday, at Pineville, were held Friday at 11 a.m. at Jerusalem Cemetery, near Winnfield, with the Rev. Alwin Stokes and the Rev. Ellis Smith officiating. Mrs. Dickerson, a former resident of Winnfield, had been an invalid for more than thirty years. The deceased was born in Winn Parish and lived here until 1904. She is survived by her widower, Mr. Monroe M. Dickerson, of Shreveport; two daughters, Mesdames A. J. Fowler and Nora Raywinkle, of Minden; three sons, Messrs. F. L. Dickerson of Lufkin, Texas and H. R. and Arthur Dickerson of Shreveport; and several grandchildren, including Mina Lee and Bill Raywinkle of Winnfield. Three children are deceased, Bryan Dickerson, Etta Dickerson Burnett, and Francis Dickerson. She is survived by the following brothers and sisters: T. L. Jones, Dodson; Mrs. Martha Jordan, Hudson; Mrs. Della Hatten, Oak Grove, Mrs. W. M. D. Gaar, Hudson; Miss Rosa Jones, Montgomery; L. D. Jones, Montgomery; Wesley Jones, Gaars Mill; and Judge Wiley R. Jones, Colfax.
