L. Dickerson Held Sunday, Feb. 5 Funeral services for Mrs. W. L. Dickerson, 67, of 2716 Frederick St., Shreveport, who died Saturday afternoon at her home following a long illness, were conducted Sunday at 10 a.m. from the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. O. Byrne, in Shreveport, with the Rev. C. W. Culp, pastor of the Queensborough Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was in the family plot in the Jerusalem Cemetery at Winnfield Sunday afternoon at 2:30. Mrs. Dickerson was a native of Winn Parish and had spent all her life in North Louisiana. Her husband, who died several years ago, was connected with the Louisiana Oil Company. Survivors in addition to Mrs. Byrne include another daughter, Miss Audette Dickerson; three sons, W. F. and Cecil Dickerson of Shreveport, and B. O. Dickerson of Minden; two sisters, Mrs. Katie Dickerson of Winnfield and Mrs. E. M. Anders of Tioga, La.; three brothers, W. D. and Sam Sherwood of Winnfield; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
