All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: June 10, 1937 Winn Parish Enterprise Heart Trouble Is Fatal To Tom Dick, Atlanta Resident, June 4th Tom Dick, 76 years and 25 days of age, died at his home in Atlanta June 4, 1937, as a result of heart trouble. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church on June 6th with interment in the Atlanta Cemetery. The Rev. Baggate of Campti had charge of the rites. Mr. Dick was born in Claiborne Parish and had been a resident of the Atlanta Community for about 40 years. A devout member of the Methodist Church, he never failed to attend as long as his health would permit. He was a good citizen. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Ed Collins, Mrs. George Ray, Mrs. Nancy Driggers, Frank Dick, Mrs. Luther Dick, Atlanta; Neal, Leon and Lonnie Dick of Arkansas; and Jim Dick and Dock Dick, brothers.
