Negro Dies From Broken Neck Last Saturday

Jumps From Moving Car And Is Killed Almost Instantly

Buck DeLoach, negro and resident of the Calvin Community for many years died
within a few minutes after suffering a broken neck last Saturday morning about
9:30.

The negro, with several other negroes was riding on a truck driven by Mr. G.
E. Terral of the Calvin Community.  DeLoach's hat blew off and he jumped from
the truck without warning, falling and breaking his neck.  He was dead before
the truck reached Winnfield, in which direction it was moving at the time
of the accident.
