Colfax Soldier Killed In Korea Buried Wednesday

Sgt. Harold Douglas, 24, of Colfax, cousin of three Winn people, was buried in
Colfax Wednesday after being killed in action in Korea on May 23.

He was a cousin of Mrs. Calvin McKay, and Arthur McMurry, both of Winnfield
and Mrs. C. E. LeBarron of Atlanta.  He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Douglas
of Colfax.

Sgt. Douglas was a veteran of World War II, and was called into service after
the Korean conflict.  He had previously been wounded, and returned to action
before being killed.

He is survived by his parents, three sisters, and two brothers.
