Levi Drewett, 81, Buried Thursday Morning At Sardis

   Funeral Services for Levi E. Drewett, 81 year old Winn parish native,
were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sardis Baptist Church. Mr Drewett died
in an Alexandria hospital Wednesday.

   Burial was in Sardis cenetery under direction of Hixson Funeral Home.
Rev. Jim Koonce conducted the final rites.

   Mr. Drewett is survived by three sons, Thomas and Ray Drewett of
Alexandria, and J. T. Drewett of Monroe; a daughter, Mrs. H. C. Boone,
of Lecompte; and one brother, W. U. Drewett of Winnfield; 22
grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

(Note: Levi E. Drewett is one of the five sons of Rev. Tillman Drewett
and Susan F. Martin Drewett.)
