Last Rites Held For T. J. Drewett At Mansfield
Mother and Brothers of Deceased, Residents of Winnfield

   Last rites were held in Mansfield Sunday afternoon, August 18, for T.
J. Drewett, age 52, who died at his home in Mansfield early Saturday
morning. Services were conducted by the Rev. W. C. Bennett at the First
Baptist church with burial in the Highland cemetery.

   Mr. Drewett, before moving to Mansfield in 1919, was a resident of
Winnfield and has many friends in this community. His mother and two
brothers reside here. On going to Mansfield Mr. Drewett organized the
Drewett funeral home, later establishing the Drewett Burial association.

   He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. L. V. Hebert and
Mrs. W. E. Griffith; and one son, Thomas J. Drewett Jr. In Winnfield are
his mother, Mrs. Fannie Drewett, and two brothers, W. U. Drewett and A.
T. Drewett, Sr.

   Many relatives and friends from this community attended the funeral
Sunday.

(Note: T. J. Drewett's mother's name was Susan Francis Martin Drewett.)
