D. W. Driggers, 62, Buried at Atlanta Sunday, April 30

Funeral services were held April 30 for Daniel W. Driggers, 62, who died at
a local hospital April 29.

Services were in Atlanta Methodist Church with Rev. J. C. Rousseaux in charge,
assisted by Rev. T. T. Edwards, a lifelong friend of the deceased.  Burial
was under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Driggers, a native of Lincoln Parish, lived on Atlanta, Rt. 1.  He is
survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Driggers; one daughter, Jewel Driggers of
Pineville; two brothers, Marshall of Winnfield and William of Castor; three
sisters, Mrs. Lena Humphries of Cedar Grove, Mrs. Savannah Humphries of
Bossier City, and Mrs. Nancy McMurry of Hico.

Pallbearers were Troy Kyson, L. C. Kolb, E. B. Durham, R. E. Bonnette, Frank
Dick, and Rayburn Strickland.
