She was the widow of the late John Dryden. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Alexandria with Rev. Prichard and Rev. Moses Mercer officiating. Interment was in Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. She was a member of the Nazarene Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Delle Malone, Mrs. Hettie Jackson, of Pineville, and Mrs. Rosa Crayon of Montgomery; five sons, Alvin Dryden, Herbert Dryden, and Roy Dryden, all of Pollock, Albert Dryden and David Dryden of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie McIlwain of Montgomery and Mrs. Clara Lang of Leander, La.; four brothers, Jesse Jowers, Aaron Jowers, and Melder Jowers of Montgomery and C. E. Jowers of Alexandria; 24 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
