Mrs. Ambrose Ducote Dies in Baton Rouge

Mrs. Ambrose Ducote, nee Virgie Jackson, who formerly resided in St. Maurice,
and attended school in Winnfield many years ago, died at the Lady of the Lake
Hospital, Baton Rouge, at 5:20 Sunday afternoon, and was buried Monday at St.
Francisville.  Mrs. Ducote was a cousin of Mrs. J. H. Crawford of Winnfield
and a sister of Mr. W. R. Jackson of Calvin.  She is also survived by a
brother, Hardy Jackson of St. Francisville and a sister, Mrs. B. C. Dean of
Houston, Texas.
