Chester Dunn Dies; Burial At Friendship

Chester Dunn, 95, of Joyce died Thursday, January 16, 1975 in a local nursing
home here after a brief illness.

Survivors are three sons, W. E. Dunn of Georgetown, W. H. Dunn of Pollock, and
E. B. Dunn of Tullos; five daughters, Mrs. Maurine Williams of Shreveport,
Mrs. Edith Shelton of Winnfield, Mrs. Loice Stubbs of Houston, Tex., Mrs.
Clara Bennett of Joyce, and Mrs. Estelle Gorham of Tullos; one brother, Nathan
Dunn of Pollock; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great
great grandchildren.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers here
with Rev. Coda Salter officiating, assisted by Rev. Charles Haley.  Burial was
in Friendship Baptist Cemetery in Pollock.
