Last Rites For S. C. Dunn Held Near Sikes Oct. 9

Sidney Clyde Dunn, 56, native of Sikes, died of a heart attack at
Raymondville, Texas, Wednesday of last week.

Funeral services were conducted at the Hart Church near Sikes at 3 p.m.
Sunday, October 9, with burial in the Wright of Hixson Funeral Home.  Rev.
Kenneth Wall officiated at the rites.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Laura
Gregory Dunn; two sons, Alfred Paul Dunn, Waynesboro, Miss., and James Dunn,
U. S. Air Force, Denver, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. Rayford Cole, Baton
rouge, Mrs. James M. Allen, Clarksville, Tenn., and Betty Claire Dunn,
Raymondville, Texas.

He also leaves his mother, Mrs. S. A. Dunn, Sikes; two brothers, D. C. Dunn,
Sikes, and J. K. Dunn, Monroe; and two sisters, Mrs. D. L. Sellers, Olla, and
Mrs. T. J. Brown, Alexandria.
