A. Durbin Held At Antioch Church Funeral services for Mrs. B. A. Durbin of near Goldonna, who succumbed at her home Thursday, November 12, 1942, after an illness of eight weeks, were held at the Antioch Church Saturday with the Rev. Janaway officiating. A native of this parish, Mrs. Durbin was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ab. Martin. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Surviving are her husband and 11 sons and daughters: Mrs. Clara Gibbs, Sam Durbin, Mrs. E. C. Kelly, Mrs. Pearl Durbin, Dammons Durbin, Jimmie Durbin, Alon and Dail Durbin, all of Goldonna, Route 1; Mrs. Shirley Babers, Saline, La.; C. Durbin, Pioneer, La.; and Gaylon Durbin, Camp Beauregard. She also leaves three sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Annie Dean, Goldonna, Mrs. Ollie Nelson, Winnsboro; Mrs. Emma Morgan, Oak Grove; Print Martin, Columbia; Fred Martin, Springhill; and Murle Martin, Goldonna. Acting as pallbearers were the following soldiers from Camp Beauregard: Sgt. Barnett, Sgt. L. C. Longino, Sgt. Jessie L. Barnes, Cpl. Thomas L. Kelly, Cpl. John Gazarda, and Pvt. Elmer J. Dorsey.
