M. L. Durbin, of Goldonna, Rt. 1, Died On July 7

Funeral services for Moses Lafayette Durbin, 61, of Goldonna, Route 1, were
held at the Antioch Church at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, July 9, with
the Rev. F. M. York officiating.  Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery.

Mr. Durbin was born in Louisiana, Jan. 21, 1886, and had been a resident of
this area for many years.  He was a member of the Methodist Church.  By
profession, Mr. Durbin was a farmer.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Martha Blake Durbin; four daughters (only three
listed in obit), Mrs. Sidney Hurley of Delhi, La., Mrs. Clarence Bagwell and
Mrs. M. L. Rushing of Goldonna, two sons, Patrick P. Durbin and James W.
Durbin of Goldonna; one sister, Mrs. John Bartlett, Jonesboro; three brothers,
Calvin D. Durbin, Jonesboro, Ira D. Durbin, Monroe, and B. A. Durbin,
Goldonna.  He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
