Caleb B. Durham Dies Friday At Houston, Texas

Caleb B. Durham, 68, former assessor of Winn Parish, died suddenly of a heart
attack at the home of his son, Dr. Mylie Durham, in Houston, Texas, last
Friday.  Funeral services were held Saturday morning.

A native of Winn Parish and a member of the well known Durham family, the
deceased has relatives over north Louisiana.  He served one term as parish
assessor from 1909-1912, a few years afterwards moved to Texas and has lived
at Houston for the past 20 years.
