Nathan Durham

Services for Nathan Arnold Durham of Natchitoches were held at 4 p.m. Thursday
in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis with the Revs. Larry Fields, Troy
Wheeler, and Ira Campbell officiating.  Masonic burial was in Fern Park
Cemetery.

Durham, 91, died at 5 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 1980 in Natchitoches Parish
Hospital.  He was a native of Atlanta, La., a retired sales clerk of
Northwestern State University, a Mason, and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Nannie Durham of Natchitoches; one daughter, Ethel
Brown of Zachary; four sisters, Carrie Ballard of Coushatta, Anna Bell Shofner
of Natchitoches, Laura Self of Cotton Valley, and Odelle Kolb of Atlanta; four
brothers, F. M. Durham of Shreveport, Crosby Durham of El Dorado, Ark.,
Clarence Durham of Winnfield, and Joe Durham of Richardson, Texas; three
grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
