H. A. Durham Dies; Rites At Union Hill

Henry A. Durham, 86, of Montgomery, died at 7:35 p.m. Monday, August 19, 1974
in Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

Mr. Durham was born in Atlanta, was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church, and
a retired merchant.

He is survived by one son, W. O. Durham of Logansport; six daughters, Mrs.
Evelyn Bishop of Montgomery, Mrs. Mildred Mitchell of Bethany, Mrs. Oler Bloom
of Natchitoches, Mrs. Floyce Lofton of Leesville, Mrs. Madeline McNabb of Lake
Charles, and Mrs. Charlene Knapp of Jonesboro, 22 grandchildren, 46 great
grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Union Hill Baptist church
with Rev. Jack Jones and Dr. Ira Campbell officiating.  Burial was in Mt. Zion
Cemetery under direction of Southern of Winnfield.

Pallbearers included grandsons Larry Knapp, Darrell McNabb, James Mitchell,
Delmon McNabb, Terry Bishop, Wayland Durham.
