B. Durham, Winn Native, Dies In Natchitoches Funeral services for Mrs. J. B. Durham, 91 year old Natchitoches resident, were held in Natchitoches at 2 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Durham, widow of Rev. J. B. Durham, a Baptist minister, died at her home Friday. Before her marriage, she was a Miss Shelton, native of Winn Parish, but she had resided in Natchitoches for the past 25 years. Funeral services were conducted by Dr. Perry Webb, pastor of the Natchitoches First Baptist Church. Burial was in Sardis Cemetery near Winnfield. Pallbearers, all grandsons, were Marvin Wyatt, Leon Wyatt, Arlo Pennington, Dr. J. W. Durham, Robert Lee Durham, Jr., and Dr. Eddie Durham. Mrs. Durham is survived by four daughters, Mrs. T. M. Wyatt of Atlanta, La.; Mrs. C. T. Bolton of DeRidder, Miss Lessie Keys of Natchitoches and Mrs. W. L. Wagner of Wilton Junction, Iowa; three sons, R. L. Durham of Shreveport, P. G. Durham of Natchitoches and J. B. Durham, Jr. of Hodge; four sisters, Mrs. R. E. Mathews of Atlanta, La., Mrs. Nellie Richardson of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Leola Wallace of Verda, and Mrs. Wiley Cupples of DeQuincy; one stepbrother, T. B. Durham of Houston, Texas; 33 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
