Funeral Services Held For W. B. Davis at Couley Last Monday

W. B. Davis, 84 years of age, died at his home in the Couley community Monday
afternoon at 5 o'clock.  Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at
Double Church.  Rev. George McVey officiated.  Edmonds Funeral Home was in
charge.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Tucker, Rochelle; Mrs. W. A.
Hallmark, Rt. 1, Atlanta; Mrs. Arch Thornton, Pineville; one brother, Kelly
Davis, and one sister in law, Miss Narcissus Reeves, with whom he made his
home.

The deceased was a member of the Methodist Church.  He was born in Coesko,
Miss., in 1854.
