G. D. Dyson, 37, Dies; Rites Held At Hargis

Funeral services for Gerald Denville Dyson, 37, of Montgomery, were held at 2
p.m. Monday at Hargis Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Smith officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home
of Winnfield.

Mr. Dyson died Saturday, June 5, 1976 at Rapides General Hospital in 
Alexandria after a brief illness.  He was a heavy equipment mechanic.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Frances Dyson; one son, Denville J. Dyson;
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Dyson; one sister, Mrs. Patsy McLaren; and his
maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lizzie McIlwain, all of Montgomery.
