Mrs. Dyson, 77, Dies At Home In Montgomery

Mrs. Mattie B. Dyson, 77, of Montgomery, died at 3:30 a.m. Friday in her home
after a long illness.

She is survived by her husband, C. C. Dyson; three sons, Theron Dyson, Matt W.
Dyson, and Paul Dyson, all of Montgomery; six daughters, Mrs. Grace Dorozinksy
of Shreveport, Mrs. Lucia Lupkes of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Norma Mclamore of
New Orleans, and Mrs. Ola Givens, Mrs. Elaine Johnson, and Mrs. Marilyn Gibbs,
all of Montgomery; two brothers, A. A. Watson and Jeff Watson, both of
Chester, Texas; 26 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Union Grove Church of God of
Montgomery with Rev. J. O. Dumas and Sister Lula Wardlow officiating.  Burial
was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of
Winnfield.
