C. C. Dyson, 92, Succumbs After Long Illness

Christopher C. Dyson, 92, died Sunday, November 29, 1970, at his residence in
Montgomery following a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday in the Church of Christ in
Montgomery with the Rev. Roy Moore officiating, assisted by the Rev. James
Barrett.  Burial was in the Union Grove Cemetery under the direction of the
Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors include three sons, Pheron, Matt W., and Paul Dyson, all of
Montgomery; six daughters, Mrs. Grace Dorzinsxy of Shreveport, Mrs. Olla
Givens of Montgomery, Mrs. Lucia Lupkes of Letittown, Pa., Mrs. Elaine Johnson
of Montgomery, Mrs. Norma McLamore of New Orleans, and Mrs. Marilyn Gibbs
of Montgomery; a brother, W. W. Dyson of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters,
Mrs. Melissa Mayo of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Aurelia Spikes of Montgomery; 26
grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
