Dyson, Jr., 48, of Montgomery, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Union Grove Church of God with the Rev. Roy Moore officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Mr. Dyson died Sunday, November 4, 1973 at his residence after a short illness. A native of Montgomery, he was in the logging industry and a World War II veteran. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Billie Dyson, of Montgomery; three sons, Ronnie Dyson of Natchitoches, Jimmie Dyson of Baton Rouge, and Tommy Dyson of Montgomery; two daughters, Miss Brenda Dyson of Montgomery and Mrs. Sandra Marien of Alexandria; four brothers, Owen Dyson of Columbus, Miss., Henry Dyson, Morgan Dyson, and Earl Dyson, all of Montgoery; four sisters, Mrs. Bernice Gilcrease, Mrs. Emily Price, both of Montgomery, Mrs. Lela Gilcrease and Mrs. Mattie Mae Carter, both of Baton Rouge; his mother, Mrs. Mae Dyson of Montgomery, and four grandchildren.
