Loss Davison, 85, Succumbs; Buried At Union Hill

Losson Davison, 85, retired farmer of the Mt. Zion Community, died in an
Alexandria hospital Thursday of last week.

Last rites were conducted at the Union Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry
Green, former pastor, officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery under
direction of Hixson Brothers.

Mr. Davison was a member of the Union Hill Baptist Church, a Mason, and a
member of Montgomery Lodge No. 168, F. & A. M.  Masonic rites were conducted
at the graveside.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Loss Davison; one daughter, Mrs. Leavy Owens
of Pineville; three sons, Reese of San Bernardino, Calif., Ray of Baton Rouge,
and A. D. of Mantee, Miss; one sister, Mrs. Callie Brown, Montgomery; four
brothers, Chatham, Van, and Mack, of Montgomery, and Melton of West Monroe;
five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
