Mother Of Local Residents Dies In Alexandria

Mrs. Katherine DeRocco, 49, of Alexandria, died at 4 a.m. Sunday, February 28,
1971 at Cabrini Hospital following a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Corinth Baptist Church. 
Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, John DeRocco of Alexandria; two sons, Woodie
and Duke Sonnier of Winnfield; one daughter, Miss Lucia Kim DeRocco of
Alexandria, and six grandchildren.

Mrs. DeRocco was the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Long.
