Nola M. Davis To Be Buried In Atlanta Thurs.

Mrs. Nola McElroy Davis, born in Atlanta July 15, 1896, died in a Shreveport
nursing home Tuesday after a lengthy illness.  Funeral services will be held
at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 1971 in the Atlanta Baptist Church with the
pastor, Rev. Ray Teal, officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She had been a resident of Shreveport for many years.

Survivors include her husband, A. E. Davis, Shreveport; two sons, Wilton
Davis, Shreveport, and Wayne Davis, Ferriday; one daughter, Mrs. Walton
Williams, Atlanta, Georgia; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She also leaves two brothers, Ardis McElroy and Dallas McElroy, both of
Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs. B. F. Reinking of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. S.
J. Juneau of Dallas, and Mrs. L. G. Bates of Ft. Worth.
