Thomas E. Drewett, 50, Of Montgomery Succumbs June 14

   Funeral services for Thomas E. Drewett, 50, of Montgomery, who died
at his residence June 14, 1965, after a short illness, were held at 3 p.
m. June 15 in Hargis Baptist Church with the Rev. Roy Sylvest and the
Rev. James D. Shehorn officiating.
   Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral
Home of Winnfield.
   Survivors are his wife; two sons, Thomas E. and Kenneth G. of
Montgomery; one daughter, Mrs. Mattie Pruett of Bossier City' two
brothers, Walter Drewett of Houston, Tex., and Ivy Drewett of
Montgomery; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtie Thompson of Montgomery, and Mrs.
Andrew Fletcher of Texarkana; one grandchild.

(NOTE: Thomas E. Drewett was the son of Ira V. Drewett and Hettie Maude Sparks
Drewett. He was the grandson of Tillman E. Drewett, and the great grandson of
Winn parish Civil War veteran Wm. H. Drewett.)
