Mrs. A. Evans, 76, Dies; Burial At Liberty Chapel

Mrs. Bessie F. Evans, 76, of Pollock, died at 6 p.m. Saturday, February 10,
1973 in a Winnfield hospital.  She was the widow of Albert Evans.

She is survived by two sons, Arlon E. Lasyone of Georgetown and Elmer L.
Lasyone of Pollock; four daughters, Mrs. Lessie Dixon and Mrs. Johnnie Lowery
of Winnfield, Mrs. Tressie Nugent of Pollock and Mrs. Melba Dubroc of
Pineville; a brother, Travis Foster of Urania; four sisters, Mrs. Maudie Smith
of Urania, Mrs. Lena Robinson of Springhill, Mrs. Minnie Bell Keith of
Williana, and Mrs. Blanche Lindsey of Vidalia, 20 grandchildren and 17 great
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Liberty Chapel Methodist
Church.  Burial was in the church cemetery.
