Mrs. Geo. Eagles Dies In Alexandria Sanitarium

Mrs. George Eagles, of Alexandria, died at the Baptist Sanitarium Thursday,
May 17th, 2:00 a.m., after undergoing an operation.

The remains were brought to Winnfield this afternoon over the L. & A.
Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon at the Baptist
Church.  Interment will be made in the Winnfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Eagles will be remembered as the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Pace,
former citizens of Winnfield, Mr. Pace being at one time mayor of this
city.

The deceased is survived by her husband, Mr. Geo. Eagles, three children:
Lamar, G. P., and Mattie Lou; parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Pace of
Alexandria; one brother, Chas. Pace of Alexandria, and three sisters, Mrs.
Lee Berlin, Marksville, Mrs. Plilar, Shreveport, and Mrs. C. B. Cole,
Winnfield.
