Mrs. Eaves was employed by the J. C. Penny Co. of Orange. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a mother advisor of the Rainbow Girls. She was also a charter member of the Altrusa Club. Mrs. Eaves had lived in Orange for the past 22 years. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Claybar Funeral Home of Orange with the Revs. Cooper Waters and C. W. Williams officiating. Burial was in Hill Crest Gardens in Orange. Survivors include her husband, Clifton B. Eaves of Orange; her father, Horace L. Gentry of West Monroe; three sons, Richard Eaves, Clifton B. Eaves, Jr., and Edward Lee Eaves, all of Orange; one daughter, Sheree Eaves of Orange; three sisters, Mrs. Cleo Henry of Columbia, Mrs. Ruth Guillory of West Monroe, and Mrs. Louise Miller of Lake Charles; one brother, Jack Gentry of Monroe.
