Mrs. E. P. Edminston Succumbs To Long Illness Wednesday

Services Thursday Morning Here; Interment At Sherman, Texas

Mrs. Eunice P. Edminston, age 87, died at the home of her son, B. G. Pasco,
Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock following an illness of several months.

Funeral services were held on Thursday morning at nine o'clock at the First
Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev. Alwin Stokes, after which the body
was taken to Sherman, Texas for final rites and interment of Friday morning.

Mrs. Edminston came to Winn Parish about 20 years ago with her son, B. G.
Pasco, who is superintendent of logging for the Tremont Lumber Company of
Rochelle.  Until a few years ago they resided at Joyce, where the headquarters
of the logging operation were located.  When the operations ceased at Joyce
they moved to Winnfield where they have resided since.
