Mrs. R. J. Edwards of Ward 2 Dies at Her Home Monday

Mrs. R. J. Edwards, age 70, died at her home in Ward 2 near Brushy Creek
Monday morning about four o'clock following an illness of only twenty days.

The deceased was a member of the Apostolic church and funeral services were
conducted by Rev. Wilson of Columbia Tuesday morning at ten o'clock and
interment was made in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by five sons, Clayton Edwards, Ward 2, J. C. Edwards,
Marion Edwards, and Henry Edwards of Shreveport, Lonnie Edwards, Junction
City, Ark., three daughters, Mrs. Eva Birdion, Weston, Arkansas, Mrs. Nora
Davenport, Wildsville, La., Mrs. Lil Pearce, Texarkana, Texas.
