Funeral Rites For Rev. Oliver V. Edwards Held

Funeral rites for Rev. Oliver V. Edwards were held Sunday, September 26, 1971
at 1:30 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Winnfield, La., with the pastor,
Rev. A. Patterson, officiating.

Rev. Edwards died September 23, 1971.

A native of Jackson Parish, Rev. Edwards was a member of the Pilgrim Rest
Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eliza Edwards of Winnfield; two sons, Perry
L. Edwards and Gener C. Edwards, of Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. Ollie Joe
of Monroe and Mrs. Trudell Holden of Winnfield; nine grandchildren, one great
grandchild, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and other
relatives.
