Calvin Phelps, pastor of First Baptist Church in Winnfield, officiating. Interment was in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Mr. Ezell, who died April 12, 1972, was a native of Grandin, Missouri, and a retired forestry inspector. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eula Wright Ezell, of Winnfield; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Holland, Jr., of Winnfield; two grandsons, Robert Edward Holland, student at Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, and John Holland of Winnfield, and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Newton Forrest, Roland Rogers, Harper Terrill, Jesse O. Anders, John W. Teddlie, and C. E. Sherwood. Among the out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wright Grigsby, Mrs. C. W. Armistead, Mrs. Annette Grigsby, Mrs. Clotile Ward, of Shreveport, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Holstead of Jena and Roy Holland of Baton Rouge.
