D. Elgin, who now reside in Alexandria, and who were once residents of Winnfield. Miss Marion died Wednesday, Nov. 4th, following an operation for appendicitis. The funeral will be conducted today by Rev. Cleanth Brooks, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Alexandria with interment in the Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville. She was a devout and consistent member of the Methodist Church and notwithstanding ill health all her life, she was a constant attendant of the services and did whatever she could in the work of the Master. The friends here as well as elsewhere extend the bereaved one heartfelt condolences in their sad hour.
