Dodson Native Succumbs In Jackson, Miss.

Aldon H. Elliott, 65, died in a Jackson, Miss., hospital at 10 p.m. Thursday,
January 18, 1968.  He was a resident of Jackson and a partner in Corr-Williams
Tobacco Co.

He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John R. Elliott who resided in Dodson.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mae McLean Elliott of Jackson, Miss.; one
son, John Robert Elliott of Jackson, Miss.; one daughter, Mrs. Walter C.
Fowler of Alexandria; one brother, Ashford R. Elliott of Alexandria; four
sisters, Mrs. W. C. Webb of Alexandria, Mrs. Eva Larson of Norphlet, Ark.,
Mrs. L. W. Doucet of Washington, and Mrs. C. W. Edwards of Ruston; and three
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in a funeral home chapel in Jackson at 10 a.m.
Saturday.  Graveside services were held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Greenwood
Memorial Park in Pineville.
