A. L. Elliott, 71, Gaars Mill Native, Dies

Alfred Leonard Elliott, 71, of Ruston, died Wednesday, December 27, 1967 at
his home.  He was a retired farmer and a native of Gaars Mill.

He is survived by a son, Keith Elliott of Ruston; a brother, Rush Elliott of
Knobs Master, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Conn of Winnfield, Mrs. Mary
Flowers of Jena, and Mrs. Rosa Branch of Dodson; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m Friday in New Hope Methodist Church
near Dodson by Rev. Roy Grant and Rev. Alson Jeter.  Burial was in New Hope
Cemetery.
