W.E. EMMET DIES; RITES AT YANKEE SPRINGS Mrs. Willie E. Emmet, 80, of Goldonna, died Wednesday September 13, 1972 in the Confederate Memorial Center in Shreveport after a brief illness. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday, September 14 in the Yankee Springs Baptist Church near Goldonna with the Rev. D.W. McDaniel officiating, assisted by the Rev. Glen Griffin. Burial was in the Yankee Springs Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Willie E. Emmet, a son, Willie Glen Emmet of Goldonna; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Martin, and Mrs. Billy Lucky, both of Goldonna; a brother, Robert L. Blake of Jonesboro; six grandchildren and her mother, Mrs. Mattie Blake of Goldonna.
